In 1930, sixteen-year-old Shimon Musseri arrived in Tel Aviv from Damascus. In 1936, he married Pauline and began working in the Income Tax Department under the British Mandate.
In 1948, Shimon Musseri was still working in the Income Tax Department, but now as an employee in the service of the State of Israel. He remained there until he retired in 1971 after a 35-year career, during which, among other things, he served as Assessing Officer for the city of Rehovot and the Dan Region.
In 1955, Shimon Romano was discharged from the Israel Defense Forces after serving as an officer in the Israeli Navy. He married Rachel (Shimon Musseri’s daughter) and began working in the Income Tax Department.

In 1969, Oved Blanga, 35, and his wife, Ruti (Shimon Musseri’s daughter), decided to return to Israel after having lived in Italy for many years.
In 1970, Shimon Romano decided to leave the civil service and open his own tax consulting firm.
In 1971, the same year in which he left the Income Tax Department, Shimon Musseri and his son-in-law, Oved Blanga, founded a tax consulting firm, Musseri & Blanga.

In 1981, Shimon Musseri passed away after a serious illness.
In 1991, Isaac Blanga, 27, completed his degree in accounting and joined his father Oved Blanga’s firm.
In 1995, 29-year-old Moshe (Shaka) Romano completed his accounting degree and joined his father Shimon Romano’s firm.

And so, our roots are deeply implanted in the history of the Israeli nation and the State of Israel, and in 2006, Romano Blanga & Co. Accountants was established, culling its values from the two veteran firms, while always looking ahead towards the future.
